Financial software has little tolerance for error. A duplicated payment, an unreconciled position or an unexplained access to client data is not a bug report: it is an incident with regulatory, financial and reputational consequences. We build and maintain the backend systems where this matters, with Java and Spring, and with security and traceability designed in.

Lugano is an established Swiss financial centre, home to private banks, wealth and asset managers, fintech and digital-asset companies. We work with them in Italian, meeting in person whenever it helps, and with financial institutions across Switzerland in English.

Secure financial integrations

Banking, custody, payment and market-data integrations are where most production problems start: timeouts, partial failures, duplicates, out-of-order messages. We design integrations that are idempotent, observable and recoverable, using patterns such as transactional outbox, explicit state machines and consistent retry policies. Financial messaging formats and the bank-specific details are treated as part of the domain, not as an afterthought.

Transactions, reconciliation and audit

We design transaction processing and reconciliation workflows that can be explained to operations, internal control and auditors: every state change recorded, every exception routed to a person, every report reproducible. Where digital assets or custody are involved, we bring experience with custody-related backends, key management architecture and the separation of duties these systems require.

Modernizing platforms that cannot stop

Many financial platforms run on Java versions and frameworks that are out of support. We upgrade them incrementally, with characterization tests and parallel runs, so that each step can be verified before the next. No big-bang migration over a weekend.

AI with traceability

AI can reduce manual work in onboarding, reviews, document analysis and support. In a regulated environment it must be built as an engineering system: data access controlled per user, outputs validated, sources cited, actions approved by people, everything logged. We help you decide where AI is worth it, and build it inside the systems you already control. We do not provide legal or regulatory advice; we work alongside your compliance and risk functions.
